Did you know cats can’t taste sweets?
Obligate carnivores, cats don’t have sweet receptors like we do, and cannot distinguish the taste of anything sweet. If you have seen cats circling sweet treats, it’s most likely that they’re attracted to the fat in sweets, but not the actual ‘sugar’ content 🐈
