About Felicity

✅ Sweet, playful girl
Felicity and her siblings were bottle fed and hand raised from just a couple of days old after their mother was tragically hit and killed by a car in Liverpool. Because of this, she is very used to being picked up and handled. Felicity is the tiniest of her litter. She initially struggled to grow and gain weight appropriately but is now well and truly catching up to her bigger but not bossier siblings. Felicity is an energetic kitten who while she won’t start a game, LOVES to be included in any games her siblings and 2 other similar aged kittens are already playing. She also adores climbing the rather large cat tree her foster carers have provided for them to hang out on. She can often be found jumping between the levels and scratching the posts.
Felicity has not had much interaction with children as her foster carers don’t have them, but we expect after a period of adjustment, she would adapt well to an older child 5yrs+ who has been taught how to handle and interact with cats appropriately.
Felicity also hasn’t been tested extensively with dogs. She has met her foster carers small dogs and while she is very unsure of them, she just walks away or hides from them rather than lashing out.
Felicity has been hand raised on the bottle with his 2 siblings and 2 other kittens, and has been raised by an adult female cat since she was 8weeks old. Felicity tolerates Emily’s presence well, but is a bit of a scaredy cat when her foster carers have tried to introduce her to other adult cats. With the right introduction protocol though, we are confident she would, in time, adjust to a pre-existing cat in the household.
Felicity is seeking a strictly indoor home where there are secure screens on windows and doors. She would like to be adopted with her sister Thea, but they aren't strongly bonded...just playmates We are confident she would adapt to other calm pets, particularly another cat of similar age or an older female cat, IF introduced appropriately. Hasn’t had much to do with children but we are confident she would adapt to an older child (5+years) if they have been taught how to interact with and handle cats appropriately.
If you feel Felicity could be your new fluffy companion, please contact us now for a meet and greet TODAY!!
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact us at Kittie Kat Rescue Inc. After the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
