About Zeus
Zeus is a true people lover. He's happiest when he's with people and enjoys the company of adults and children, making him a great addition to a family with kids.
Zeus enjoys the company of cats, and he'd love to have feline friends who are dog-friendly and willing to be his playmates. Even though Zeus can walk calmly past other dogs while out walking, generally, other dogs frighten him. He would prefer not to share his new home with another dog and would appreciate a secure fence that provides a visual barrier from other neighbourhood dogs so that he can feel happy and safe in his own backyard.
Zeus's day typically involves delicious meals, interactive treat toys, refreshing walks, and quality time with his favourite humans. On weekends, he'd love to go to the beach for a swim and some playtime in the sand. He has an endearing habit of digging in the sand with both front paws at the same time. It's adorable, and he knows to only dig at the beach!
As long as he has a trusted person with him most of the time, Zeus could happily adapt to a variety of homes. He doesn't really require a big yard, so anything from an inner suburban environment to a rural setting could suit him well. He can be sensitive to loud noises from trucks and motorbikes but is improving with age. Storms don't faze him, and he'll happily sleep through them when he's inside with his family.
Keep an eye out for Zeus's tail wagging when it's mealtime, when he spots his lead, or when it's time for a belly rub. He's a loyal and affectionate boy who enjoys leaning on you to encourage those extra snuggles.
Zeus got used to having constant companionship during COVID lockdowns and isn't coping now that his family have had to return to their busy schedules. They love him dearly, which is why they have made the decision to put his happiness first and find him an owner who can be by his side day in and day out.

Zeus is sensitive to seafood. He requires a bath regularly to maintain healthy skin, paying careful attention to keep his ears dry. Occasionally, Zeus has required ear drops.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
