Yin is the cinnamon mitt and around 6 month's younger than Yang the sable, Yin can also be a little nippy mostly because of mild heart arrhythmia. When these 2 girls came in they were in a very poor state, this was largely becauseof the ferret kibble they were being fed and lack of warm blankets for cold nights in thier cage.
Yin does have irregular heart arrhythmia, it doesn't need medication at this stage and isn't bad enoughto be of concern. Yang has always been sweet even at the very beginning and never shown any aversion to people, has even given kisses to strangers.
Sofar Yang isn't ferret social other than Yin and I am hoping with time this could change. When they are allowed out for run time both girls do go a bit silly of course, but Yin lasts longer than Yang and can get a little tiring for her.
Changing the diet from species appropriate raw to kibble can easily cause behavioural issues and weight loss, as well as shortened life expectancy.
Medical notes
Due to previous malnutrition from a kibble diet as well as being bred at a very young age, Yin does have mild heart arrhythmia and currently is not in need of medication.
Adoption details
Meet and greet with any adoptables you are interested in is strongly advised, before making a decision on who will become a part of your family.
There is a adoption form to fill out once a decision is finalized and any adopted out are to come back into care if they no longer have a place with the adopter, this is to ensure they have a familiar place to settle back down.
There is a trial period of 2 months for all in care, during this time if the pet is not settling in well or another problem occours then a new companion can be trialled or adoption fee refunded depending on the health of the pet. Outside of the 2 month trial period advice, help and food (at cost), will still be provided.
Please do not ask for a intact rescue as refusal often offends and it's in the best interest of the companion pet they have this done first, exceptions will only be made for those well known by the rescue.
