About Frankie
Hi there! I'm Frankie, a Greyhound in search of my forever home.
I may be new to the world outside of the racing industry, but I'm eager to embrace a life filled with love and companionship. I absolutely adore people and have a lot of affection to give. Whether it's snuggling up on the couch or receiving gentle scratches behind the ears, I'm always ready to shower you with love and affection.
When it comes to other Greyhounds, I'm a social butterfly. I enjoy the company of my fellow Greyhound friends and love to play and interact with them. However, I haven't had the chance to make friends with dogs of different breeds yet, so it's best if I find a home with other Greyhounds or similar-sized dogs.
While I have a lot of love to give, I can get a little too excited around small children and animals. Because of this, it's best for me to be placed in a home without them. I'm sure with the right training and guidance, I can learn to control my enthusiasm and become a well-behaved companion.
My long and springy legs make me quite the athlete! To keep me safe and secure, I'll need tall and sturdy fencing in my new home. I'm looking for a family who understands that I'm still learning what it means to be in a home environment. I need someone patient and willing to guide me through this exciting transition.
If you're an experienced and understanding individual or family searching for an active and affectionate Greyhound like me, I could be the perfect match for you. Please complete the form below to meet me!

We ask for a one-month "foster to adopt" period, giving us all time to ensure that this greyhound can adapt to your home. When adopting a greyhound from RSPCA Tasmania, you will receive a special orange collar, which has your dog's unique number on it. Please make sure your grey wears that collar when visiting a special greyhound off-leash area, located in Kingsborough and Launceston, or just out and about for a walk.
