Pantalaimon

Pantalaimon is a super special boy. I love him. He is perfect, right down to his white mittens! We were warned by the pound that Pantalaimon had bitten a few staff members, and had a habit of crawling up your trousers and biting the top of your leg (which I find quite hilarious, as that is a such a "ferret-thing" to do). Pantalaimon has never ever tried to bite me, or anyone here at the shelter. He is the most chilled out, loving, sweet, friendly and affectionate boy. I think playful nipping can be mistaken for biting by a lot of people, so I would be surprised is Panta ever really meant people harm at the pound. But in any case, I think he'd even be fine for a ferret beginner. He is just perfect. Since he's arrived, he's kept all his business in the litter tray. So nice having a clean boy! He will eat his raw food diet, but takes things ever so gently from you. Originally on the skinnier side, he's become a chunky little monkey here, and there is now a bit of weight to him.

Panta arrived from the pound with Lyra, however they entered the pound at separate times and are not related. Although not housed together originally, the ferrets decided to be friends, and are happily cohabiting. These two are best friends, and must stay together.
