About DJ
DJ is the most loving and sweet old soul you will ever get the pleasure to meet. He absolutely thrives on human affection and will bond quickly with his people. If you love a good Netflix binge-session, than DJ is your man!
Poor DJ came in to rescue after his owner died. He was living in a hoarding situation, and while people came and fed him poor DJ lived there for months waiting for someone to take him to safety. He has thrived in foster care and we can’t believe he hasn’t been snapped up yet.
He is currently living in a share house with young adults which means he has many beds to sleep on and humans to snuggle up with. He would love a family where someone is around most of the time, as he will do his best sooky act when you go to leave, but he does settle not long after so this wouldn't be a deal-breaker for him!
DJ is suited to a pet free home. He has not grown up around other animals and at his age he finds animal interactions stressful. He will ignore the presence of other dogs when out on his short strolls but always wears his muzzle on walks, to keep everyone safe in case a loose dog rushes up to him and gives him a fright.
DJ is a big, old boy who likes to excitedly greet new people by jumping up to give them a cuddle. This is a behaviour a confident handler can correct as he learns more polite ways to show you his love.
DJ is:
- Desexed
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
- Extremely Handsome
