ππ¬ MEET MAC & TIGGY π¬π
Hey there, we're Mac and Tiggy! We might not look like best friends, but from the moment our eyes met across the room in our new foster home, we fell in love - a companionship kind of love, of course - and have been inseparable ever since. Even the concept of personal space went out the window between us pretty quickly. We love sleeping right on top of each other and are always hanging out together!
Nature
We both came into the care of the Angels after living on the streets and are still adjusting to our new indoor life of luxury. Together, we have formed a bond that makes us brave, but separately, we're still trying to find our confidence - especially around our big human housemates. We're lovely guys who really want to be friends with you but we will need you to give us time and patience to settle in - oh, and lots of treats too, of course!
Tiggy - Tiggy is an adorable little man who is still learning to trust people. He's very playful and happy, though he can get a little spicy sometimes if you try to pat him when he's not in the mood. He likes occasional cuddles and is happy to be picked up sometimes - but mostly on his terms. With plenty of unconditional love and a safe, secure home, he's sure to soon come out of his shell and turn into the little snugglebug he was born to be.
Mac - Mac is a super sweet boy, he really wants to be able to trust humans but heβs still pretty scared. He canβt be held at all just yet and he growls and hisses and spits a lot - but then he will sit and wait for you like he does want the attention he just has to be extremely overdramatic about it! Recently, he's started to let his foster mum pat him and give him the affection he craves. He's still a little nervous but he's slowly learning to accept it more and more. He's a sensitive sweetheart who will also need plenty of love and security to help him feel comfortable and happy.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Tiggy and Mac have been inseparable since day one and feel like they're destined to be together furever. They'll make the purrfect pair together and though they will always be each other's number one, they should do OK with other cats - or tolerate them at least - especially with slow intros.
As they're both pretty shy and still finding their feet in this new world, Mac and Tiggy are best suited to an adults-only home with no dogs or young children. Teenagers and older kids should be OK, as long as they can read their signals and give them lots of space and patience.
Likes / Dislikes
Our number one likes would have to be each other! Even above food - though that's a close second. It's the other way to our hearts. We also love naps, but no matter how many beds or space you give us, you'll always find us piled up on top of each other like the cuties we are. We may not let you pat us and cuddle us all the time, but if you love just watching funny and cute cat shenanigans, we'll happily keep you and your camera roll entertained and full of our antics!
Our PURR-fect home would be a calm, adult-only home, preferably with no other animals (though another cat or two could be OK, we just don't want them to feel left out of our special bond). We'd love to find humans who understand our needs and are very patient and have lots of love to give. It'll probably take us a while to settle in, so keep your expectations for cuddles low (at least at first), but know that by giving us a safe and loving home and teaching us to trust and love you, you're giving us ex-street cats the best possible chance to be our sweet, loving selves - especially if you give us food bribes (hint, hint!)
