About When Harry Met Sally ~ Bonded Pair
Harry (DoB: 27/08/2018) and Sally (DoB: 12/04/2018) are pure working breed German Shepherds that cannot be without each other.
Harry is the goof ball, puppy at heart and always trying to push the boundaries. Sally, on the other hand, is the wise older influence that knows exactly what she does and why it's done. She is also pretty good at getting Harry to get into mischief at her bidding.
Harry and Sally are best suited with older children as they can play without realising their size and weight. They are very protective of their family - true German Shepherd style - and will not be shy to keep strangers outside their home until the family gives them permission to enter.
Harry and Sally, due to their loving nature, need to be close to their people. They require not being left alone for long (full time) hours.
Once you look past the usual German Shepherd do's and don'ts, Harry and Sally are the most loving and loyal dogs you could ever ask for. They do need to trust and respect you, leadership goes a long way, and they are set to become the best dogs you could ever ask for.
Good feeding, stimulation and exercise will see them thrive in your home. Please be ready to share every room with them, as they will not leave you alone. Your bed will likely become their bed, too. Oh, and nevermind their size, they really believe they are lap dogs!
Please note:
1. They cannot be split up.
2. No other pets in the household, please!
3. Large dog and/or breed experience is a must! Not suitable for first time dog owners.
4. They are working dogs and not suitable for sedentary living.
5. They require 6 foot, or taller, very secure fencing.
6. They require a decent sized yard when alone but are inside dogs when their humans are home.
7. They are not suitable to sleep outdoors overnight.
8. They will not be taken to off leash dog areas while other dogs are about.
