Atticus

Atticus needs time to trust you. One he knows knows you, you are his best friend. He is not so high energy and not jumpy like many at his age but he is strong. He walks on loose lead most of the time. He ignored cars but lunges at some passing dogs. He much prefers walking on bush tracks rather than roadways.

Volunteers say “Beautiful happy big boy. Very dog reactive but very friendly with humans. Loved his splash pool.” "A bit reluctant to walk at first. Once over the hill he walked so well on loose lead. He can be a bit sensitive about having his legs touched." He has a thicker lab like coat and weighs around 33kg.

Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.

Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.

NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE:
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitation, with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
