Meet our ever so handsome Karl!

Karl is a bundle of energy and sweetness wrapped up in one furry package!

Despite finding himself in a shelter, Karl is doing his best to adapt and make friends with the humans who are helping him. He may appear stressed and confused initially, but his affectionate nature shines through as he warms up to people.

Karl loves food, which makes training sessions a breeze as he's highly motivated by treats. He's a sweet baby at heart, craving love and attention from his human companions. Boisterous and lively, Karl thrives on activity and interaction.

Karl would do best in a home with secondary school-age children or older who are comfortable with energetic dogs. Due to his strength and bounciness, continued positive, force-free training will be necessary to help him channel his energy appropriately. He's a people dog through and through and would prefer to be the only animal in the home as he gets overwhelmed by the presence of other animals.

Given Karl's strength and excitement, it's essential for him to wear a harness during walks to help manage his walking skills and prevent pulling. He may benefit from ongoing training to improve his leash manners and ensure enjoyable walks for both him and his human companion.

Overall, Karl is a loving, enthusiastic companion who is eagerly waiting to find his forever home with a family who can appreciate his exuberance and provide him with the love and guidance he deserves!!!
