About Jasper - Located in Northcote
Hey there, folks! I'm Jasper, the ginger ninja you never knew you needed in your life! 🐾
If you're searching for the epitome of a purrfect ginger tabby, look no further because I'm your guy! Seriously, if you crack open that dictionary and flip to "purrfection," you'll find my picture right there, front and center.
Now, let's talk about what makes me, well, me! I'm a friendly, smoochy boy on a mission for love, fun, and, let's be real, food. A feline's gotta eat, am I right?
But let's not get too serious here. I'm all about the fun and silliness! Picture this: me, zipping down hallways like a ginger streak of lightning, chasing my siblings like there's no tomorrow. Oh, and don't even get me started on my favorite game of "tennis" with a mouse toy or a crumpled-up piece of paper. I've got skills, let me tell ya!
But you know what I love most of all? Curling up with my people at the end of the day, purring my little ginger heart out until we all drift off into dreamland. There's nothing quite like a cozy cuddle session to end the day on a purrfect note!
So, if you're up for a whirlwind of love, laughter, and ginger charm, then I'm your guy! Let's make some memories together, one playful pounce and snuggle session at a time. Trust me, you won't regret it! 🐱💖

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
