Jasper

Jasper is a shy boy with a sweet nature. He has history of escaping (by bolting through doors) but this seems to be due to his needs not being met. He was never walked or been taken anywhere, so would escape to go and do zoomies, then return home! Jasper has previously lived with a small dog that used to attack him. However, he could possibly live with a friendly, calm, easy-going canine friend and obviously a meet and greet essential.
Patient, kind, calm guardians who live a quiet lifestyle are needed for this sensitive boy. An owner who will allow him to come out of his shell in his own time. Jasper needs time to build confidence.
Jasper absolutely needs regular daily exercise and should enjoy being introduced gradually to new experiences with his owner. After he has had his daily run, he will most likely seek out the comfiest spot in the house and snooze the day away! Secure high fences are essential (he has springs in his feet and can jump!) and proof of fencing is required. Jasper has lived with a cat which he was scared of, so will be happy as the only animal in the family.
Jasper will make a beautiful companion once he has someone he can trust as well as safety, structure, routine and enrichment in his new home.
