About Bernie
Meet Bernie, an eight-year-old male Terrier mix with a heart full of happiness and affection! Bernie may be a little older, but he's still brimming with joy and loves nothing more than spending time with people. With his low energy needs, Bernie is content with a short walk or some playtime in the backyard, making him the perfect companion for those who prefer a more relaxed pace.
Bernie is a social butterfly and excels at meeting new people. He's friendly and welcoming to everyone he meets, spreading smiles wherever he goes. While he's fine with other dogs, Bernie can feel a bit intimidated by larger ones and prefers his space. He would be best suited to living with older, calmer dogs or smaller ones close to his size. Bernie is also great with children, making him a wonderful addition to a family home.
One thing to note is that Bernie is overweight and would benefit from a loving family willing to support him on his weight loss journey to reach a healthier, more comfortable weight. Additionally, Bernie has a dental disease that requires regular check-ups at the vet's, but it's nothing too serious and can be easily managed with proper care.
Bernie dreams of a cozy home where he can curl up inside, basking in the warmth and companionship of his beloved humans. With his affectionate nature and gentle demeanor, Bernie is ready to fill your home with love and joy for many years to come. If you're looking for a loyal and devoted companion, Bernie could be the perfect match for you!
