About Royce
Meet Royce,
Royce is a friendly kitten who would be suitable for most homes. He is very easy-going & loves to play & interact with the ACF staff. He purrs to show how happy he is, he loves attention & affection & is confident to make friends with anyone he meets.
He is affectionate and doesn’t mind being picked up, carried, and cuddled so he would be suitable for families. He would make an excellent mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age!
Just like all kittens, Royce would LOVE a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. He should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that he grow up big and strong.
Royce is already litter trained, but it’s best to show him where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.
Can you open your heart and home to a friendly, playful kitty like Royce?
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
