About Marty
Meet Marty, the dynamic ball of energy you've been waiting for! đŸ Marty is an active puppy who thrives on playtime. While he hasn't had the chance to interact with cats or kids yet, Marty's friendly nature suggests he'd be open to making new pals of all kinds.
Marty is always up for a game or two, and loves his toys. Plus, he's a quick learner and already knows the sit command like a pro.
He has spent his young life so far with his sibling, so its possible that Marty's independence might be a work in progress, but with a bit of patience and encouragement, he's sure to flourish on his own.
If you're ready for a bundle of fun and affection, Marty is eager to be your loyal companion. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this playful pup into your life! đđ¶
Adopting a puppy is a big responsibility.
It's important to understand that training is just as important as providing food, water, and shelter for your new pet. Having an untrained puppy can lead to behavioral problems that can make the pup difficult to live with. Of course, having an obedient pup is much more rewarding for both pet and owner.
Training your puppy is a vital part of their development. Starting early is key, as puppies learn and adapt quickly. Training will help your pup understand commands and expectations. Furthermore, it will help socialize your pup, making them better equipped for interacting with other animals and people.
During puppyhood, you should focus on teaching basic commands like sit, stay and come. Consistency and repetition are key in training, and it is important to reward good behavior with treats and praise. This will help reinforce positive behaviors and discourage negative ones.
It is also important to provide your pup with plenty of exercise (once fully vaccinated). Not only will this help with physical development, but it will also help keep them mentally stimulated. This will help promote good behavior, as well as help your pup get rid of excess energy.
In addition to basic commands, you should also consider training your pup in more complex tasks. These can include tricks, agility, and even protection training. Not only will this help to sharpen your pupâs obedience, but it can also be great fun for both of you.
Training your pup is an important part of preparing them for a happy and healthy life. It is important to start early and to be consistent in order to ensure success. With patience and dedication, you and your pup can learn to create a bond that will last for years to come.
So, if youâre ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting today. You wonât regret it!

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.Â
