Sam 🥕

Sam is possibly every women's dream - he squeals with excitement as you near him; he is ever so handsome with his deep; soulful eyes and Rapunzel-esk hair; he is happy to sit and listen to you about your day as he mindfully enjoys his healthy, homegrown, organic harvest; and he'll never demand more of your time than you are able to give. 

Since being in care, Sam has shown that he is learning to trust his people, but this is growing each day and he needs someone who is patient with him on his journey to his new life. Sam now takes food from your hand and even approaches you when you have food. He loves his kale, carrots, herbs, clover, broccoli, snow peas, tomatoes, hay, his pellets and lettuce. 

Sam has a story to tell, which we can only piece together from his now healed scars on his back. It seems as though his previous roommates did not appreciate Sam's new age ways, and he was the bottom of the pecking order. That is now all behind him though, and he is showing that he wants to trust again. Sam would like a buddy, but one who is not dominant and who he could find companionship with. 

Sam has been handled in care, however this is one of his two least favourite things in the world (the first is being amongst dominant males). He really would love a home that would take him as he is, reduce their expectations of him and allow him time to get to know you. What Sam lacks in physical connection, he truly makes up for in emotional connection. 

Sam & Skunk are becoming friendlier towards each other as time goes on and their carer now feels they could most certainly be adopted as a pair 🥰
