About Tui - 2 Year Old Border Collie
If you truly, truly want to rescue a dog, then Tui may just be the dog for you. Tui is a sweet, medium, short-haired Border Collie who is approximately 2 years old.
Tui is looking for love. She has not had a very happy start to life and is very timid around humans. She is very forgiving and wants to find a family that will give her lots of love and care.
She loves going for walks and walks well on lead. She’s very friendly and loves meeting other dogs. She loves playing with her foster brother the Border Collie so a family with another playful dog and a good-sized yard would be a bonus. She would love to be welcomed inside and love cuddling up with you on the lounge or on the bed. She would prefer a family who is home more often if she is to be an only pet, as she doesn’t like to be left alone.
She loves all food and treats, this will be extremely valuable in assisting with her training and bonding to her new family. She is very smart and understands basic commands like sit and stay.
Tui loves to play with lots of different doggy toys to keep her mind active and is no problem with kids or other pets. She has no reaction to cats, is even a little afraid of them.
She is a sweet, loveable girl who is ready to love a family of her own. She has been an absolute pleasure to foster and is a very low-maintenance dog. Once you have her trust, she will make a wonderful, loving companion.
Tui is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (suburb of Newcastle). Her adoption fee is $500, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
