Meet Jenny! 🐕
PERSONALITY:
Jenny is a very confident young lady among all the playful puppies. She exudes affection for her litter mates and all doggie companions. She does not seek out affection from humans as the other pups do, it's a very typical cattle dog trait. These dogs select their human and bond with them very closely.
A sociable young lady, Jenny enjoys a good game and joins in playing with a huge range of toys and joyfully chasing her foster siblings in the yard. She thrives on the company of other dogs, finding comfort in their presence. Once she establishes trust with her humans, she eagerly seeks pats and cuddles after playtime. Jenny is currently learning basic training and commands in her foster home.
TRAINING:
In foster care, Jenny has adapted well to sleeping through the night in her crate. She has recently been introduced to a lead for walks, demonstrating her adaptability. She is not totally enamored with lead walking, so we will need to ensure her new family are definitely onboard with her lead walking training. While still working on perfecting her toilet training, she responds well to reminders to go outside. Jenny benefits greatly from the influence of her foster siblings, indicating that a home with a dog role model would be ideal for her continued development.
PERFECT HOME:
Jenny is seeking a patient and loving home that isn't looking for a snuggly dog and with a family or individual that understands that she is a puppy, just beginning her learning journey. She is an independent young lady and likes her own space. Her ideal home should have ample love to share and a commitment to ongoing training. She would thrive in a household with any combination of humans be they single, couple or a family with older children. Most importantly, she needs a doggie sibling to be her mentor and companion. Jenny is looking for a family that will enroll her in puppy school and provide the necessary exercise and social interaction. Her forever home must include another dog to assist in building her confidence in both people and the broader world.
Is Jenny the right puppy to join your family? Do you and your family have the time to commit to daily training, be consistent and repetitive with your training? If you can all honestly say YES to all of these questions then you are ready to welcome a delightful companion into your home. With her playful spirit and independent nature, she promises to bring joy and love to your everyday life. Jenny's journey of learning and growing awaits in a patient and nurturing environment. If you can offer her the love, guidance, and companionship she needs, you may just find that Jenny is the perfect addition to your forever family.
