Hey there, my name is Dawson and I haven’t been in care long but I have come a long way. At first I was very scared, but I am getting used to living indoors and loving it. As I’m a little shy it takes me a while to get used to you. I have started to learn that these pats and cuddles with hoomans are not so bad after all.

Once I’m comfortable, my Foster Mum says I am an energetic and super playful little kitty. Toys are the best fun. If it moves or jingles, I love to pounce on it. When I’m all worn out from playing and pouncing, I like to curl up and have a little nap.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live with lots of other kitties and I love their company. I haven’t met any small humans yet and would be best suited to older children, teenagers and adults who understand I will need time to adapt to indoor living. Small children may be a little too overwhelming for me at this time.

I also haven’t met any dogs yet, but with a slow introduction I’m sure we would become best friends.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my food. I have wet food in the morning and at night, with biscuits available 24/7 in case I get a bit peckish. Toys are pretty cool too, I love playing with toys.

As I am little and still learning this indoor life, loud sudden noises can be scary.

My PURR-fect home would be somewhere I can continue to learn and grow in confidence and get heaps of love, cuddles, attention and play time. I would need to have another kitty as company for when you go out and as a playmate. I am also happy to be an indoor fur baby to keep my precious little paws safe from danger, although access to a fully enclosed cat run could be cool when I grow up, but not essential.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Dawson was exposed to cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
