Ben & Jerry

Ben and Jerry came from the pound very scared and bewildered. They have settled down and are learning new things. Their former owner went into care so their life experiences have been limited. They are gentle affectionate dogs who love playing ball and are very social with other dogs. They are not used to being picked up so this needs to be done slowly in a calm relaxed manner. They are very affectionate and willing to please and make good eye contact with you. They look like brothers and want to stay together. Jerry is a bit stockier at 8.4kg and Ben is 6.4kg. Both have short coats.

Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.

Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.

NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.

These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
