About Kevin
Kevin is a very cuddle affectionate little guy who likes to climb on your lap and sit on chairs and couches. He is social with small dogs but humans are most important to him and is looking for a home-based worker. When he gets nervous, he can get a little snappy, particularly around being picked up so it is always important to ready his body language. He came from the pound underweight and with a dirty dull coat. He is easy to bath. He has a short coat and weighs 4.1kg.
Suit Home Based Person: Unable to cope alone and has shown signs of separation anxiety. Needs human company.
Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
