About Thor (50906)
Thor has been quite the personality since he came into care. Having come to us with little experience of the outside world, Thor is surprisingly confident in his nature and those that know the husky breed well will not be perplexed by his outgoing, larger than life demeanour. Though he came to gaws with another dog, we deemed the relationship an unhealthy one and Thor will need to be the only dog in his new home. He can be quite amorous with female dogs, and can rub males up the wrong way. He will need a husky proof, secure yard and arctic breed care, including regular grooming. Thor may need assimilation to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and is not suited to a home with cats, or children under 12. He walks fairly well on lead and has started to build bonds and show that there is an affectionate and loving boy underneath.
