About Kirk (60297)
We have some lovely information to update on our boy Kirk. He has recently resided in a home with another dog who unfortunately didn't appreciate Kirk's company, however Kirk took this very well and chilled in the home for a few days. Kirk was found to been settled in the home once comfortable, loved walking on his harness and sniffing to explore, enjoys the car once on board, slept inside in a play pen, loves tug of war and general toy play, enjoys company when he eats and has no drool! He had some positive engagement with children and spent some time alone in the home safely. Kirk is a young energetic boy looking for an active family to call his own. Kirk has been friendly to all he meets, but has clearly lacked manners training and structure. He would highly benefit from a committed owner to utilize his food motivation and channel it into training that can see him become a well rounded boy. Kirk may suit living with a well matched second dog (who wants company), but is probably not suited to children under 10. He has not been tested with cats and will require a bit more integration to indoor/outdoor living.
