About Trixie
Meet Trixie, a charming two year old female German Shepherd who is full of zest and vitality. She's currently mastering the art of good behaviour under the expert guidance of Bear the Dog Behaviourist and is making progress every day.
Trixie is proving to be an excellent student, walking perfectly on a lead and gradually becoming more and more at ease around other dogs. This curious lady does not shy away from exploring her surroundings and shows keen interest in whatever catches her eyes or sparks her curiosity. Given her sharp intelligence and spirited nature, there's never a dull moment in Trixie's company.
She is a food affection which makes her even more motivated for training and learning new tricks. Such easy motivation makes it delightful working with Trixie, as she continuously surprises you with the sheer eagerness of learning new behaviours.
Trixie would be best suited to an experienced German Shepherd owner who is committed to continue her training. If you believe you can give Trixie a loving home, are relatively active, and enjoy the satisfying process of teaching a dog new things, then she may be the perfect match for you.
Geographically, residents of Queensland or Victoria will be able to consider taking Trixie as part of their family. However, please bear in mind that meeting Trixie in person is a must. This is to ensure that Trixie fits well in your family structure before she makes the transition to her new life. In the case of non-compatibility, it is important that you are able to either take Trixie back to Sydney, or assist us in finding a new home from your location.
In Trixie, you will find an adventure-loving companion, brimming with life and love, looking to share precious moments with a family that she can call her own. This spirited girl has a lot of love to give, so why not make a place for Trixie in your heart?
If you think you can give Trixie a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Trixie".
Medical notes
Trixie will be desexed in the next few weeks when we can get an appointment with our vets

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
