About Squid and Nori
*In foster care in Manly, Sydney*
Lovely lad Squid (black and white) and sweet girl Nori (grey and white) have experienced lots of change and adaptation in their short lives so far! After being rescued from an abandoned tyre factory they quickly found a home together - and now, due to circumstances beyond their control, they're back in foster care hoping their next home will truly be 'forever'.
These bonded kitties love to play, with wrestling and chasing their games of choice :) When it's time to relax they bed down in a cosy tangle, and when they've had their fill of chill they jump up and explore their space in convoy!
Individually, they're quite similar in temperament - entering new environments with some caution before blossoming as they settle in. Squid is a big boy who's very smoochy and loves to show it! His gentle approach to seeking affection is heart-warming, and in the blink of an eye you'll have a BFF for life.
Squid is also working on his summer body and is close to goal weight! He savours his leisure time, indulging in afternoon naps and curtain twitching, Mrs Mangel-style :)
Nori's distinct grey face mask sets her apart, giving her a striking and adorable look. Like her brother, she's initially reserved but becomes incredibly sweet and lovable once the trust is there. She enjoys her moments of relaxation and loves to follow her humans around the house to see what they're getting up to. And she's fascinated by the night-time bats that fly past the window!
Like all Maggie's pets, Squid and Nori are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: A calm, quieter type of home with a single person, couple or family who'll be patient and understanding as we find out footing would be amazing! We're sure to thrive with someone who values the journey of building bonds with shy pets, and enjoys the rewarding experience of their evolving affection.
We've only ever lived in an apartment so we don't require a huge space, but if you've got some extra I'm sure we could make excellent use of it!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We tend to hide a bit early on, but once comfortable we're a perfect mix of snoozy and zoomy!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though we've only lived with one or two adults at a time, we're pretty sociable by nature - so there's every chance we'd appreciate the company of cat-loving kids!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We've really only known each other since leaving our litter, so it's hard to say.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
