About Tonka
Meet Tonka, a young cream and white male Kelpie x Border Collie.
Tonka is a very sweet dude who absolutely loves getting attention. Although full on at times he tries his absolute hardest to please and calms down very quickly with a good pat on head. When outside during the day he loves to run, play and get all his energy out with his foster siblings around the property. But at night he would do anything for a belly scratch and cuddles. Tonka is very loyal and loves to be by your side!
Tonka knows how to sit and lay down. He sleeps in his crate all night without a peep and waits to be let out to the toilet in the morning. Tonka’s recall is improving everyday but sometimes his nose gets the better of him.
Tonka would love to be in a home where he gets endless amounts of love and attention. He would love to be able to spend lots of time with his humans and go on many adventures. A home with other doggie pals and plenty of room to run and play. Ideally Tonka would love to live on some acreage. Tonka also needs a home that has somewhere secure for him to be when his humans aren’t home.
Tonka is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He has also been around horses, cows and sheep.
If Tonka sounds like the dog for you apply today!!
Tonka is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
