About Donny & Fiona (Shrek & Fiona)
Meet Donny and Fiona!
These two lovely feline companions are the epitome of the expression "two peas in a pod." They are soulmates who are extremely affectionate, gentle, and sweet, and we'd love to find them a loving home where they can stay together.
Donny and Fiona are deeply connected to each other; their bond is a sight to behold. These two big purring machines can often be found snuggled up together on a warm comfy lap, purring and nuzzling into each other. They have a connection so strong that they would find each other, even in a room full of cats. It's a testament to their affection for each other.
These gentle souls are also extremely loving and full of affection towards their humans. Donny and Fiona are definitely lap cats and enjoy spending time lazily lounging in the presence of their favorite people. Their sweet nature makes them the perfect companions for anyone looking for gentle companionship.
When it comes to their living situation, they adore the comfort of indoors. Donny and Fiona prefer a home where they can be safe and secure within four walls, possibly because it keeps them closer to their beloved human companions or their cherished catnap spot. They are also quite sociable and do well in the company of other cats.
If you're looking for a double bundle of joy, Donny and Fiona would be the perfect addition to your home. They would fill your home with so much love, bringing beauty and sweetness beyond measure, so long as they can be together – for they truly are each other's "Beauty and the Beast."

Donny has weepy eyes that are constant due to an old eye surgery, it does not affect his quality of life or day to day life in any way and all he needs is a little wipe here and there.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
