About Bernie
Meet Bernie, a delightful and tranquil fellow. This lovely cat is the definition of low-maintenance, possessing a calm and relaxed demeanour that adds a soothing touch to any household.
Bernie is a mix of playfulness and couch-potato relaxation. He revels in the simple joys of chasing feathers on a string, basking in the sun's warmth, and relishing belly rubs.
This charming boy has an adorable meow, which you will surely hear if you open a tin of tuna. Tuna is Bernie's favourite treat, and he'll dash over to let you know! Bernie also enjoys snuggling up with his people of an evening, expressing his affection through loud purring and a gentle kiss if you're a true favourite.
Bernie is searching for a calm home with secure outdoor access, preferably a garden with high fences. He would make a perfect companion for an elderly owner, but he would also be happy living with gentle, older children. Bernie would be glad to live as a solo pet but may also be happy sharing his home with a cat-friendly pooch. Patience is key when introducing him to dogs, as he warms up gradually, showcasing his playful side once trust is established.
With Bernie, you're not just adopting a cat. You're gaining a serene, affectionate companion who thrives on the simple joys of life.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
