🐾✨HI SA Handsome Harlie is a 12 month old French Bulldog who is looking for his forever home.🐶🏡

Harlie was surrendered through no fault of his own and he did not have the best homelife. 🥲This young boy was left in the backyard, alone until he came to PPRA. So he was not socialised or trained. 🐶He lived a lonely life but that has all changed now!👏👏

He has had his vet checks, vaccinations and desexing. He is now on the search for his perfect forever home.🏡

Harlie is best suited as an only dog, he likes all of the attention for himself and doesn’t like to share his humans with anyone else. 🐶💖He will need someone to be in his life all of the time as he does have some separation anxiety. Harlie is an inside dog but loves to help with gardening and having a play with his toys (or yours!) in the back yard.🥗

Since arriving in foster care, Harlie has found the puppy inside him. 😃He now loves to play hide and seek on the bed when the sheets are changed and if you leave anything on the floor, he loves to investigate it and will take it to his “nest”😊. He loves to play with his toys, he chews sticks and plants and will chase an empty milk carton around the house for ages. 🐶😃 He has also found his voice and will let you know if there is anyone at the front door or walking past the house.😂

He is a funny, gentle and loving boy who seeks affection and cuddles from his humans. 💖 He is very smoochy and loves to give “kisses”. 💋 Once he trusts his humans, he loves to have his tummy rubbed.
He sleeps in his bed next to his foster mums bed and he loves to jump on the bed for cuddles in the morning. 🛌

Harlie has progressed in other areas over the last few months. He still does become anxious when walking but he is slowly adapting to the new world he is in. ✅ When walking he does require reassurance and re-direction. If there are no other dogs around, he is very good walking on a lead and will sit and wait while you chat.🐶

He loves a raw diet and especially vegetables and fruit. He will pick and eat the ripe strawberries and fruit in the garden.🍗 🍓
His toilet training is a work in progress but he is doing well with encouragement. 👏

Harlie is not suited to children under 12 years old and he is not keen on cats
