Introducing Memphis, a lively and loving Staffy cross Kelpie, looking for a new family to adore. This handsome 3-year-old male weighs a healthy 22kg. He's up-to-date on all his shots, desexed, microchipped, and wormed. His wide, welcoming eyes gleam with loyalty and intelligence, making it impossible not to fall in love at first sight.
Memphis comes equipped with some impressive credentials; he's a versatile companion who's comfortable with fellow dogs, children, and even adjusts well to a household with cats. He is the perfect picture of canine sociability and friendliness. His ideal family is one who'd provide him with an environment where he feels safe, loved, and comfortable.
Memphis is a very active and energetic guy, so a secured backyard would be an optimal playground for him. He loves games of fetch, frisky chases, or just exploring exciting smells. His adventure-loving Kelpie side shines through in these activities, complementing his keen intelligence.
Child-friendly Memphis is great with kids. He's excitable but gentle, making him a fantastic family pet. He does need to work on recall and he’ll need to greet new dogs properly and gently .
Memphis is based in Chermside West and eagerly awaiting to meet his future loved ones. If you’re seeking a loyal, active, and intelligent canine companion who is ready to light up your life with love, look no further than Memphis! Allow his joyful presence and boundless affection to warm your home, one tail wag at a time.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
