About Zoe
Allow us to introduce you to Zoe, a charismatic and spirited 3.5-year-old German Shepherd, who is searching for a lively home that appreciates her energetic and engaging personality. Zoe has an incredibly social nature; she enjoys spending time with humans and fellow dogs and tends to win everyone over with her charm. She is a slightly smaller shepherd weighing only 28 kilos.
Already equipped with basic obedience training, Zoe might need some reinforcement while she adjusts to her new environment. She's a smart girl, quick on her feet and eager to please though, so any additional training should be a fun and rewarding process for both you and her.
Zoe is an energetic companion who would love to share her zest for life with an equally vibrant individual or family. Her ideal home would be with someone who appreciates the commitment and dedication that comes with raising a German Shepherd. If you're an active person who has a deep understanding and a strong bond with larger breeds, Zoe would be the perfect match for your lifestyle.
This lovely little shepherd has a soft spot for water; whether it's a splash in a lake, a swim in the pool or even a frolic under the garden hose, she can't resist getting her paws wet. Just know, when storm clouds roll in, Zoe would appreciate the comfort and reassurance of her family, as she's not a fan of thunderstorms.
If you're fortunate enough to welcome Zoe into your home, she'd relish the opportunity to become an integral part of your family. Living presently with an older German Shepherd, she displays a friendly and respectful demeanor towards other dogs. Her compatibility with cats or pocket pets remains untested, though.
In essence, Zoe is looking for a home packed with love, activity, and continuous learning. If you can give precious Zoe a chance to be your forever friend, ensure your lifestyle matches her energetic nature and promises continuous engagement; she can surely brighten up your life with her spirited charm.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the energy to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Zoe"
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Zoe. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Zoe is microchipped and will be desexed, heart worm tested and vaccinated before going to her new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
