Millie - 2 Year Old Staffy X Bulldog

Millie is the sweetest 2-year-old small Staffy X Bulldog with a nurturing, gentle, and happy nature.

She is a great companion for nights in and backyard BBQ’s, a big-time love bug who will adore you. She is housetrained, has not had any accidents inside, sleeps inside through the night, knows key commands, and does not drool like you might think a bulldog would.

Happy to head out for a short daily walk to wherever she can sniff out the local pup news, we do not think Millie was socialised, so we are working with positive dog training to show her how to interact with the world around her. She really loves a car ride and is more than happy to cruise around in the back seat, windows down watching the world go by, giving big smiles to everyone who passes.

Millie is very loyal and loves spending time with her family, being in a home where she can sit by her humans for most of the day would suit her best. When you are not home, she is happy to quietly wait for you to return, watching and listening to the world. In between her backyard zoomies, and moo cow sun sponge sessions, she is more than happy to curl up at your feet. In her bed or on some cool tiles snoring the day away.

Millie is quite hesitant around new people, especially men wearing sunglasses, but she will take treats so gently from anyone including children. As long as she is met with gentleness and calmness, she learns you are trustworthy very quickly. Millie does not jump on kids or has knocked them over, though will try to plant a big smooch or three.

We are working on her socialisation as she is excited to meet and play with any other dog she comes across, so she will need some help in learning how to calmly meet new fur friends, with some desensitizing training so she believes that her environment is a safe one.

Millie walks like a dream! Does not pull on the lead at all, when you apply a little pressure, she stops and checks in with you immediately. She is very responsive to positive encouragement, your love and words often being the biggest motivator, then treats training. Millie is smart, pays attention, is adaptable, and respects house rules when gently taught.

No cats or pocket pets. Would be best in an only-dog household.

Millie is in foster care in the St George area of Sydney, NSW. Millie's adoption fee is $500, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
