Meet Diva, a 12-year-old Maltese looking for a loving home! This sweet girl is 6 kg of pure cuddles and loves to spend her days getting belly rubs. She's been desexed and microchipped, and is up to date on all her vaccinations and worming treatments. Diva is well socialised with other dogs, though we don't know how she feels about cats yet. She can live with children over 10 years old as she is a little old lady that doesn’t liked to be handled too much . She came to us very unkempt and uncared for. Underweight and extremely matted. Our friends at Paws and Claws at Mango Hill Qld helped her and made her feel normal again. As an inside dog, she doesn't require any special fencing, just a normal secure fence . Diva is currently located in Red Hill, and her adoption fee is $395. If you're looking for a loyal companion that will brighten your days with love and affection, then look no further than Diva!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
