About Leo (46175)
Leo and his large friend Otis have unfortunately come to GAWS as surrenders. Both dogs enjoy each other's company and we would love to see them head off together but understandably taking on two large breed dogs is quite a challenge. Leo is a nervous dog that has not coped well in shelter. Leo requires encouragement to accept new people. Leo enjoys the company of dogs and with a correct match, this will aid Leo's settling period. Leo requires an experienced and confident owner who has the time and patience to help him build confidence and to guide his settling. Leo will choose his new owner through his acceptance. Leo has basic training, is an indoor/outdoor dog, is house and crate trained, can be strong on lead to start but calms nicely, has child experience and Leo loves the beach.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
