George and Mimi

Meet George and Mimi! These two are a very special bonded mother/son duo and they are looking for a very special forever home.


These two lovely cats grew up in a colony in the backyard of an elderly man's home. Around 8 months ago they were sent to the pound by the council where they were rescued by their colony feeder and taken into foster care to give them their chance at a happy-ever after. In that time they have really come out of their shell.


George and Mimi are incredibly bonded and have a very special relationship with each other. They spend most of their time sleeping together, snuggling, and grooming each other. They enjoy the occasional chit chat to each other and like to stay where they can see each other at all times. Their love and devotion is heart warming, and it's clear they would be lost without each other.

George can be quite vocal at times and will definitely try to communicate with you. Mimi is quieter in terms of meows but she does trill quite often and will meow back and forth when she’s chatting with George.

These two have come a long way and they are still on their journey to trusting humans. George allows pats on his own terms and is just learning to really enjoy them. Mimi will accept pats, scratches and brushing - but only on the condition that she gets her favourite treat at the same time. Other than still adjusting to what on earth it means to be patted, they are both very much house cats that love to sleep in all the beds, scratch their cat tower and survey their indoor land from the top of the tree. Both are very content being indoor only and they love the company of other cats. Over time they will continue to get more and more comfortable and progress in their affection towards humans but it is important you understand their personalities and meet them where they are at.


They are both very gentle and would make fantastic companions for an individual or couple. They love other cats and would do well in a household that already has cats or one with no cats as they have each other. They have not been around children or dogs and for this reason we would not recommend a house that has either. 

They absolutely MUST go together and STAY together. These are two very special cats looking for a very special home.

They are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have been spayed/neutered. They are both FIV negative and their flea and worming treatment is up to date.
